Tulum, Mexico, Aug. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Thor Urbana, the Latin American affiliate of Thor Equities Group, today announced its participation in a landmark partnership bringing UMusic Hotel & Beach Club Tulum to the center of Mexico's Tulum Renace initiative, a government-led strategy to strengthen Tulum through sustainable tourism, infrastructure and cultural investment.

Opening in December 2026, the property will feature 57 hotel keys, an 800-capacity beach club and an integrated creative hub for concerts, film production and original content, developed by Inmobilia and operated through UMusic Beach Clubs & Lifestyle (UMBL), a joint venture between UMHL and IMI Group.

"What we have built goes beyond hospitality, bringing together culture, entertainment, community and experiences to create a true economic and cultural catalyst for Tulum", said Jimmy Arakanji, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Thor Urbana.

"Tulum represents exactly the type of destination where strategic investment and thoughtful development can create lasting value," said Joe Sitt, Chairman and CEO of Thor Equities. "We are proud to support this collaboration and bring together leading partners across real estate, hospitality, music and culture. The opportunity is not simply to develop an exceptional property, but to contribute to the long-term growth and evolution of Tulum."
