LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Stacey Frost, sustainable development advocate and co-founder of Darling&Co., and Elvis Mitchell, esteemed film critic and host of The Treatment, successfully brought one of the most talked-about experiences to the 2025 Sundance Film Festival with The Elvis Suite. The invitation-only suite housed a remarkable lineup of VIP programming, drawing some of the most influential voices in entertainment for curated conversations in an intimate, retro-inspired setting. Darling&Co., an official festival partner, collaborated with manager Cheri Barner to bring the vision to life.
The Elvis Suite transported festival guests into a space reminiscent of the film and music studio scene of the 1970s, offering a unique retreat from the bustle of Park City. Attendees engaged in meaningful dialogue with industry luminaries, including Cynthia Erivo, Bill Murray and Questlove, among others. The suite also served as a stage for exclusive, in-depth discussions, with Quentin Tarantino making a special appearance solely for a one-on-one conversation with Mitchell.
"At Darling&Co., we believe in the power of storytelling to create real change," said Stacey Frost. "Partnering with Elvis Mitchell, whose passion for elevating voices aligns with our mission, was an incredible experience. The Elvis Suite was a space for meaningful conversation—a catalyst for new ideas, creative collaborations, and a deeper appreciation for the impact of film and culture."
The exclusive experience kicked off with an opening party celebrating the highly anticipated film Jimpa, featuring Olivia Colman and John Lithgow. Over the course of the festival, The Elvis Suite continued to be a hub of artistic exchange, with Mitchell hosting candid discussions that resonated beyond Sundance, reinforcing the festival's legacy as a launchpad for groundbreaking storytelling.
Reflecting on the significance of the event, Cheri Barner added, "It feels like I've come full circle with Sundance. I first arrived in 1994 as a co-founder of IndieWire, alongside Eugene Hernandez and Mark Rabinowitz. To return with Elvis Mitchell on Main Street, now that Eugene is in the Festival Director position, was extraordinary. The Elvis Suite embodied the spirit of collaboration and community that made my first festival experience so impactful."
With its fusion of intimate dialogue, industry influence, and a nostalgic yet forward-thinking atmosphere, The Elvis Suite left a lasting impression on Sundance 2025, cementing its place as a must-attend experience for filmmakers, artists, and cultural leaders.
