Session will explore incentive strategies for succession and long-term ownership planning
LAS VEGAS, Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Reins, which gives contractors the tools to grow what their business is worth and their key people a real stake, announced its CEO and co-founder, Chris Buttenham, will be a featured presenter at Pantheon, Oct. 5-7 in Orlando, Florida.
Buttenham's 45-minute breakout session, "Alternative Equity: Incentives for Growth, Retention and Succession," will delve into incentive frameworks as top talent retention tools that link rewards to measurable business targets. It will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 11:15 a.m.
"You can't build a contracting business if the people helping drive that growth keep walking out the door," Buttenham said. "Owners need a way to keep their best people invested in where the company is going and reward them for the value they help create. That's what I want contractors to walk away understanding at Pantheon."
The session comes on the heels of Reins' launch of Valuation, a new AI-powered product that gives contractors a clearer view of what their business is worth, the factors driving that number and opportunities to increase it. Valuation works alongside Reins' Incentives product, helping owners connect the goals that increase company value with rewards for the employees helping achieve them.
In addition to speaking at Pantheon, Reins will also be exhibiting at Booth 209.
"Knowing what your business is worth is only part of the equation," Buttenham said. "Once owners understand what drives that value, they can start aligning their key people around the things that move the business forward. That gives them more options whether they want to keep growing, step back from the day-to-day or eventually transition the company."
