MEDIA ADVISORY - Canada Post to unveil newest Remembrance Day stamp

Canada NewsWire

VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 28, 2026 /CNW/ -- Canada Post will be unveiling its newest Remembrance Day stamp honouring Chinese Canadians of Force 136 on Tuesday, November 3 at 1:30 p.m. PT at the Chinese Canadian Museum in Vancouver.

The new commemorative stamp honours the service and legacy of a remarkable group of Chinese Canadian veterans who served in secret, high-risk missions behind enemy lines across Asia during the Second World War, despite racial discrimination at home. Their service helped advance the Allied war effort and, after the war, to break down racial barriers in Canada.

The stamp unveiling will be a private event, by invitation only. Interviews will be available on site.
